Meet the Sycamore family-- three generations of play-writing, bad ballet dancing, and evading nosy government officials. When Alice, the only "normal" member of the eccentric Sycamores, falls in love with Tony, the son of the uptight Kirbys, an evening of comedy and decidedly awkward moments between the two families ensues.

Happy Chinese New Year

Back in 3rd grade, two of my friends and I were sitting in the back of a car, coming home from a piano recital. It was February, and we were happily creating a "Chinese New Year Celebration."
"Look, red socks! 恭喜发财！" I hold up my sock-clad feet.
"Yum, 大吉大利 平平安安！" We scramble for fruit, or at least something that vaguely resembles it.
"Here is a 'fish!'年年有鱼。" We hoist up my black sweater, which I had prior changed out of.
"Flowers!花开富贵 " My friend holds up her hairclip, adorned with little roses.
"甜甜蜜蜜！" We crumple a cute pink sweater into a ball.
Repeat again. And again.
"Can I say 花开富贵?" I ask.
"No, you have to do the socks, because that's the funniest," one of my other friends replied.

Did you have any regrets when it comes to your friendships?: Doesnt everyone? a friendship isnt really a strong ship unless there are patches and bits that you regret building/not building
