Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth I

Queen Elizabeth I of Britain, highly regarded as the "Virgin Queen" due to her lack of a spouse, is renowned for three physical traits: rotted teeth, flaming red tendrils of hair, and outrageously intricate garments characteristic of the Elizabethan era. Although this image only captures the latter two of these traits, I hope to have recreated the Elizabeth's fierce determination, her steadfast patriotism and her love of good entertainment. All three of the Elizabeths above don dresses based off of actual portraits of the Queen, which I have adapted to best suit modern viewing.
